"If you keep getting a bladder infection (cystitis), there's some evidence it may be helpful to take D-mannose – a sugar you can buy as a powder or tablets to take every day."
How D-Mannose works
D-Mannose attaches to E-coli bacteria and prevents them sticking to the cells in the urinary tract. This allows the bacteria to be flushed out of the body during urination.

Your questions, answered
We recommend one level teaspoon (3g) for acute use, or 1/2 teaspoon (1.5g) for maintenance daily and mix it with water or fruit juice.
We've kept it as natural and organic as possible, without artificial flavours, additives, sweeteners or preservatives. As such, it doesn't dissolve completely like an instant drink, and that's normal.
And because we're using organic cranberry powder, the taste, colour and aroma can vary from batch to batch.
It has a very mild, sweet taste with a hint of cranberry.
D-Mannose, Organic Cranberry Powder, Organic Biofibre Prebiotic Inulin (No Nasties).
Keep in a cool dry place, away from direct sunlight.
Do not exceed the recommended intake, and should not be used as a substitute for a varied, balanced diet.
D-Mannose has a lower impact on blood sugar levels compared to glucose and is less likely to cause significant blood sugar fluctuations.
However we're not qualified to give medical advice and for specific health conditions do check with your GP first of all.
D-Mannose is generally well-tolerated, but some people may experience mild side effects such as bloating, loose stools, or diarrhoea.
Taking a smaller amount and drinking more water during the day can help.
The 30 serving packet is based on taking 1 full tsp a day for acute use.
If you're taking it for maintenance, which is 1/2 tsp a day, a packet has 60 servings.
Yes, it's vegan friendly.
The shelf life of D-Mannose Complex is 18 months from production date if your pouch is unopened and stored in a dry, cool environment, away from direct sunlight. There is a best before date printed on the back label.
Once opened keep your D-Mannose Complex sealed in the pouch, or for ease of use you can store in an airtight jar or container and it can be stored in the cupboard.

Every Golden Greens packet is certified Plastic Neutral+ which means we're offsetting more plastic than we use, by preventing plastic waste from entering our seas.
