Health & Beauty from within... Our Organic Spinach Powder is rich in many vitamins and minerals that are important for your health and wellbeing. For example:
Flatter Tummies & Weight Loss... Spinach can help as part of your diet plan, because it's high in fibre. High fibre foods help you to feel fuller for longer, so you're less inclined to over-eat.
According to the NHS website, "fibre has many health benefits. It can help prevent heart disease, diabetes, weight gain, some cancers, and improve digestive health".
However, many of us don't get enough fibre. The UK average is just 14g a day, and you should aim for at least 18g a day. Spinach Powder contributes to your recommended daily fibre intake, and 10g of Spinach powder will provide about 2.4g of fibre.
Reducing Tiredness... Vitamin C and Iron in Spinach powder contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
Digestive Health… Calcium in Spinach powder contributes to the normal functioning of digestive enzymes, and Iron to normal oxygen transport in the body.
Skin & Gums... Vitamin C is also important because it contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of blood vessels, bones, cartilage, gums and skin..
Calcium contributes to the maintenance of normal teeth, and also to normal muscle function. Protein contributes to a growth in and maintenance of muscle mass.
Spinach powder is a natural, organic source of antioxidants including Vitamin C which contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
Mental Health... For your mental health, Vitamin C contributes to normal psychological function, Iron to normal cognitive function, and Calcium to normal neurotransmission in the brain.
Physical Health... Vitamin C and Iron contribute to the normal function of the nervous system and the immune system. Iron contributes to normal formation of red blood cells and haemoglobin, and Calcium to normal blood clotting.
